How does Nioxin work?

Step 1 - Cleansing
Nioxin cleansers work by cleaning and opening nutrient pathways for improved hair and scalp condition without stripping hair of essential oils and nutrients. The cleansers gently remove follicular debris, toxins, pollutants, styling aid build-up and unclogs hair follicles to allow the scalp to receive a complex of bionutrients, botanicals and herbs.

Directions for use: Wet hair, lather well, leave on 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse. Proceed to step 2.

Step 2 - Scalp Therapy
Scalp therapy is an essence of European botanicals and exotic herbs that restores moisture balance, conditions, adds vitamins, proteins and activates the hair follicle to produce healthy hair, without build-up or adding weight.

Directions for use: Used after 1 or 1C shampoo. Apply to hair, massage gently throughout hair and scalp. Leave in 1 to 3 minutes. Rinse. Proceed to step 3.

Step 3 - Nx3
Nx3 is used ONLY for Advanced thinning hair and receding hairlines, bare scalp and sparse hair density in the crown or temple areas.

Vasodilators increase blood flow to the scalp, thereby allowing the body's natural supply of nutrients to feed the hair follicle with increased oxygen uptake and encourage new hair growth from previously clogged hair follicles. Hair and scalp become healthier.

Directions for use: Only use in open areas of scalp. Apply with eye dropper in open areas. Leave in. Avoid contact with the eyes, forehead and neckline. Wipe off immediately to avoid temporary redness brought on about by micro circulation. Do not rinse hair or scalp. Follow with Bionutrient 2 or 2C. Proceed to step 4.

Step 4 - Bionutrient Conditioner and Treatment For Normal and Early Hair Loss 2 or 2C
For hair, hair follicle and scalp
